When we install Windows Vista then why the sound issue occurs

Method 1: Check your sound system:

It is one of the first tasks that we need to perform if we found our sound system is not working correctly. All you need to do here is:

  • Make a double click on the sound icon available on your taskbar and then select the Mixer option to get control for audio application.
  • Now click Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound and then press the Sound option to continue with the process.
  • Go to Program option and select an option from there having a sound icon next to it and make it to full volume.
  • The sound will be audible through the hardware speakers and if it is still not just go with the other methods provided below.

Method 2: Check your volume Settings:

There is a lot of probability that you might have intentionally or unintentionally put off the volume of your hardware, you can quickly check and get it back for you just by following the steps given below:

  • Make a double click on the sound icon available in your taskbar and then select Mixer option from there.
  • Confirm that your volume is not set to mute.
  • Drag the slide bars to the full volume and then check the sound.

Method 3: Sound device verification:

If you already have tried both of the above options and still don’t have to get the perfect solution yet, it might have the possibility that you even don’t have your sound device not enabled in your Device Manager. If it is so, follow the given procedure carefully to make it much easier for you.

  • Click on the Start option and then type Device into the search bar.
  • Once done, now select the Device Manager option from the provided list of options.
  • A pop message will enable on your home screen asking permission to be get continued further with the process.
  • If done with it, click on the additional option, i.e., + next to sound, video and game controllers and make it full volume by sliding the slider.
  • Find out that the sound device is enabled or disabled here.
  • If it is disabled, then make a right click on the name of the sound and then click on it again to change it to Enable.

Method 4: Restore your original audio driver:

Any changes made in sound files and settings may cause the arrival of sound problems in your hardware. It is so you can quickly resolve it by restoring the original audio drivers of your computer system. All you need to do here is:

  • Click on the Start option and do a thorough search by typing Recovery Manager there.
  • A pop message will open up asking you about the permissions. Just grant permissions by pressing OK option.
  • Once done, Recovery Manager of your device will get open up on your home screen.
  • Now, go to the option of Welcome to the Recovery Manager Window and then make a right click on the choice of Advanced options present over there.
  • Select Hardware driver re-installation from the provided list of options and then press Next opportunity to continue with the process.
  • A new Window showing Welcome to hardware driver re-installer will open up on your home screen, select the Audio and Sound driver option from there and then press Next to continue with the process.
  • It will enable you to reinstall the Recovery Manager on your computer system.
  • Wait for a few minutes patiently, until the completion of the process and once it’s done, press Finish to accomplish the process.
  • Your computer system will get restart automatically. Once done, test sound of your device; it is undoubtedly going to have resolved now.
